Several returning University of Hawaii men’s basketball players are expected to be in action starting Tuesday at the College Summer League at the Manoa Valley District Park gym.

The six-team league has been in action for a few weeks, but most of the 2015-16 Rainbow Warriors just arrived back in the islands for summer school this week.

Clark Hatch Fitness takes on Grantco Pacific at 6 p.m. Tuesday, while Wealth Strategy Partners follows against National Fire Protection Co. at 7:30.

Returning UH players listed on those teams’ rosters include Isaac Fleming and Aaron Valdes (Clark Hatch); Roderick Bobbitt and Brocke Stepteau (Grantco); Michael Thomas and Quincy Smith (National Fire); and Niko Filipovich and Stefan Jovanovic (Wealth Strategy). Local UH players Dyrbe Enos and Zach Buscher have already been in action.

UH coach Eran Ganot’s new recruits are not expected to play in the league yet. But past Rainbow Warriors in action include Bill Amis, Julian Sensley, Phil Martin, Geremy Robinson and Justice Sueing.

The summer league runs Tuesdays and Saturdays (and most Thursdays) at 6 and 7:30 at the Manoa Park gym through the championship on Aug. 8.
