Services for former Lt. Gov. Nelson Kiyoshi Doi, who died May 16 in his home in Waimea, Hawaii, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Oceanside Luau Grounds.
Doi, 93, also was a state senator and Circuit Court judge on Hawaii island, a deputy county attorney for the County of Hawaii and a magistrate of the High Court of Republic of the Marshall Islands.
He was born in Pahoa, Hawaii. He is survived by son Dr. David, daughter Katherine and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will start 3 p.m. Sunday at the hotel. Casual attire is requested. In lieu of flowers or monetary offerings, donations are suggested to North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Road, Kamuela, HI 96743.
