Police arrested a 35-year-old homeless man Wednesday after he allegedly attacked two men in Chinatown.
Police said the incident began at about 3:30 p.m. One of the victims was taken to the hospital and treated for a head injury and released. The other victim refused treatment at the scene.
Officers arrested the suspect on North Pauahi Street on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault.
3 hurt when SUV hits moped
A 42-year-old man and two boys were injured Wednesday night when their moped was struck by an SUV in the Ahuimanu area.
The man, who was driving the moped, was transported in serious condition to a hospital, and the boys, ages 4 and 5, were taken in stable condition to the hospital after they were thrown from the moped at about 9:20 p.m. at the 47-300 block of Ahuimanu Road.
Man arrested in alleged attack
Police arrested a 48-year-old Kaneohe man at his home for allegedly repeatedly punching a woman Thursday morning.
Police said the man placed the woman in a headlock and allegedly punched her several times with his free hand. The woman suffered a deep cut to the back of her head when she fell.
Police arrested the man at 10:50 a.m. at his home on suspicion of second-degree assault. He was released at 1:50 p.m. pending investigation.
