Maui police are looking for a male suspect who robbed a Makawao pharmacy at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect entered the Makawao Pharmacy, 1120 Makawao Ave., at 12:41 p.m. brandishing a black pistol.
Police said the suspect, wearing a gray, hooded jacket and a red bandana that covered his face, took an undetermined amount of Oxycontin pills.
The suspect fled the pharmacy, leaving behind clothing, which was recovered at the scene.
Police said the man is about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, has a thin build, with light brown skin, dark hair and brown eyes.
Police have opened a first-degree robbery case.
2 injured in separate moped accidents
Two people were seriously injured Wednesday in separate moped crashes on Oahu.
A man in his 50s apparently lost control of a moped, and it hit an embankment before coming to a stop at about 3:10 p.m. on Lualualei Homestead Road, Emergency Medical Services said.
An 18-year-old woman was injured at about 4:10 p.m. on South Beretania Street near University Avenue, when the moped she was riding collided with another vehicle, EMS said.

Holualoa man found in field was murdered
Hawaii island police say the man found dead in a Captain Cook coffee field was murdered.
An autopsy conducted Tuesday determined that 69-year-old Dolores Borja Valle of Holualoa died from sharp and blunt-force head trauma. The manner of death is ruled a homicide.
A woman walking her dogs Sunday morning found the body, which had suspicious head injuries.
Detectives continue to investigate.
