  • A NEW TRADITION AT DAMIEN
Bernard Ho, left, president and CEO of Damien Memorial School, talked with distinguished alumni Frank De Lima (class of ’67) and Eddie Klaneski (class of ’93) during the school’s first “Kulalaule‘a” on Aug. 16 on the Damien sports field. De Lima was one of the featured entertainers; he was followed by Cyril Pahinui and Brother Noland. Klaneski, described by Star-Advertiser sportswriter Ferd Lewis as a “walk-on legend at UH” in the 1990s, is in his fifth season as head coach of the Damien football team.
