The high school football game between No. 8 Kapolei and No. 10 Kailua that was suspended in the first quarter on Saturday will resume on Monday at 6 p.m. at Kailua, according to OIA football coordinator Harold Tanaka.
Because the teams will be playing on a Monday, Kailua’s scheduled game at Aiea on Friday has been moved to Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Kapolei’s game at No. 1 Mililani remains on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
Radford’s game against Kalani that was scheduled for next Saturday at Aiea has been moved to Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The other postponed game on Saturday will also be resumed Monday at 6 p.m. Waialua was leading host Pearl City 14-12 when the game was stopped with 10:49 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The late Soichi Sakamoto, the former Hawaii swim coach who developed numerous Olympians and national champions from the islands, headlines the Hawaii Waterman Hall of Fame class that will be inducated Monday night at Outrigger Canoe Club.
