1. Sustaining their drive
» Situation: Wisconsin 0, Hawaii 0, 9:04 remaining, first quarter, Wisconsin ball, third-and-6 at own 36.
» The Play: DE Kennedy Tulimasealii jumps offside, giving Wisconsin 5 yards and third-and-1.
» Impact: The penalty came immediately after a false start by Wisconsin RT Michael Deiter, putting Hawaii in a position to stop Wisconsin’s opening drive. Instead, it gets the easy first down and continues to slowly drive the field. Wisconsin eventually scored the only points it needed with a 16-play, 97-yard drive. Fourteen of the plays were runs.

» Impact: Instead of getting 15 yards and a first down at the Wisconsin 6, Hawaii remained at the 21. A 10-yard holding penalty and an incomplete pass, Rigoberto Sanchez tried a 49-yard field goal that went wide left.
