Kahului’s Garrett Okamura shot a final-round 68 to beat Eddie Lee by a stroke and win the Aloha Section PGA Professional Championship on Tuesday at the Emerald Course at Wailea Golf Club on Tuesday.
Okamura finished with a 6-under-par 138 over the two rounds, he shot a 70 to Lee’s 71 on the first day.
Kevin Carll was third, two strokes behind Okamoto.
Okamura and Lee both earn a berth in the national PGA Professional Championship in June at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, N.Y. The winner of that tournament receives an exemption into six PGA Tour events over the next year. By winning at Wailea, Okamura receives an invite into next year’s Sony Open.
