COURTESY CHEF MAVRO Chef Mavro's Pastry Chef Jose Calpito's new Celebration cake which he describes as a white chocolate mocha decadence cake. Jose writes the appropriate message on the plate from Congratulations to Happy Birthday to Happy Anniversary. Many guests dine here to mark a personal victory such as a promotion, getting a sale, winning a case, graduating, etc. Also pictured here are our complimentary after-dinner candies (mignardises in French) served to all guests: top left is a financier (almond cake), next to it is a fruit pate, and in the red lacquer box are Mocha Pavé.
