University of Hawaii women’s golfers Raquel Ek and Isabella Leung are tied for fourth after the first round of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Tuesday at Leilehua Golf Course. The Rainbow Wahine remain tied for fifth place with a team score of 300.
Ek and Leung finished 1 under (71) to lead the Rainbow Wahine, while Hawaii Hilo’s Kristen Sawada led the Vulcans with her 74 in 13th place. BYU’s Brooklyn Hocker finished at 4 under par (68) to lead the field of 84 golfers.
Mississippi leads 14 schools with a team score of 294. BYU trails by one stroke and South Dakota State remains in contention at 297, followed by Sacramento State’s 299.
