Ticket sales begin Tuesday for the U.S. Women’s National Team’s soccer exhibition against Trinidad and Tobago on Dec. 6 at Aloha Stadium.
The 3 p.m. match, featuring some of Team USA’s top talent, is part of the team’s victory tour after winning the World Cup in July.
Pricing ranges from $28 for end-line seats to $400 for an on-field seat.

BYU-Hawaii swept by Azusa Pacific
The BYU-Hawaii volleyball team (10-10, 8-4 PacWest) fell in straight sets to Azusa Pacific (12-9, 8-4) 25-15, 25-9, 25-20, on Saturday at the Cannon Activities Center. Brittany Waite had a game-high 10 kills for the Seasiders.
Chaminade women’s soccer dominated
The Chaminade women’s soccer team (1-12, 0-9 PacWest) was beaten soundly by Dominican 6-0 on Saturday at Saint Louis Field. The Penguins (5-9-1, 5-5) used a balanced attack against the Silverswords with only Lily Dubuc scoring multiple goals with two.
>> On the men’s side, the Silverswords (1-11, 1-8 PacWest) lost 2-1 to the Penguins (2-13, 2-8). Ryan Arkelian’s first-half goal was not enough as Dominican rallied with two second-half goals.
>> The Hawaii Pacific men’s soccer team (8-4-1, 6-2-1 PacWest) routed Holy Names (2-11-1, 1-7-1) 5-1 on Saturday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium. Ryo Sugihara, Christophe Campbell, Javier Risco Garcia, Sven Koenig and Kala Judd each scored for the Sharks.
>> The HPU women (7-7, 4-5 PacWest) rallied to defeat Holy Names (5-8, 3-6) 2-1. Sara Romo’s 89th-minute goal completed a comeback from a 1-0 deficit in the second half. Stefanie Catone scored the equalizer for the Sharks in the 68th minute.
Apelryd paces HPU cross country
Hawaii Pacific’s Johanna Apelryd finished fourth with a time of 21:33.57 at the Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Riverside, Calif.
The Sharks women finished fifth among 11 teams with 122 points, while Brigham Young-Hawaii placed eighth with 221. Cal Baptist won with 44 points.
Azusa Pacific’s Eileen Stressling won the 6K race in 21:14.97.
In the men’s 8K race, HPU’s Jacob Alplund finished 32nd in 26:11.48.
The Sharks placed eighth with 207 points, BYU-Hawaii came in 10th with 241 and Chaminade 11th with 341. Cal Baptist won with 38 points.
Academy of Art’s Valentin Pepiot won the race in 24:29.73.
