Reyn Spooner holiday event helps Make-A-Wish Hawaii
Reyn Spooner will be hosting a holiday event from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 5 to benefit Make-A-Wish Hawaii. "A Hawaiian Christmas Wish" will take place at Neiman Marcus’ Mariposa restaurant with entertainment, heavy pupu and cocktails. All proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction will help Make-A-Wish Hawaii grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The event’s theme is inspired by Reyn Spooner’s 2015 Christmas shirt, which features postcards of Santa Claus celebrating a Hawaiian Christmas. For more than 30 years, Reyn Spooner has been creating limited-edition shirts to add to its collectible Mele Kalikimaka collection.
Hapa, Herb Ohta Jr., Sean Robbins, Jaymie from Keahiwai, Ryan Nakagawa and Usaburo Mendenhall, and others will be performing. In addition to pupu served up by Mariposa, mixologist Joey Gottesman will create his signature island-inspired cocktails.
The silent auction includes Reyn Spooner limited-edition items, Michel’s gift certificates, golf certificates, Ala Moana Center gift certificates and more. Bidding is open to the public at wish.reynspooner.com, as well as to event attendees now through 8 p.m. Nov. 5.
Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at Reyn Spooner Ala Moana, Reyn Spooner Downtown or online at the website listed above.
