The men’s golf teams for Hawaii Hilo, Chaminade and Hawaii Pacific are all in the bottom half of the 10-team competition after the second round of the Dennis Rose Invitational at Waikoloa Kings’ Course.
UHH is in sixth, Chaminade eighth and Hawaii Pacific in last place.
Cal State Monterey Bay leads by 20 strokes heading into the final day, while Clayton Yamaguchi of UC San Diego is the individual leader with a two-round total of 139. Leading the Hawaii PacWest teams is Hawaii Hilo’s Kyeton Littel, whose two-round total of 146 is good for a ninth-place tie.
