Keani Passi had a match-high 19 kills to pace the Chaminade women’s volleyball team to a 25-17, 22-25, 25-17, 25-16 victory over Dominican University in San Rafael, Calif., on Monday.
Kim Spring added 17 kills, Daisia LaBrie 13 and Suncica Bakic 11, while Passi added 10 digs for her 12th double-double of the season for the Silverswords (15-6, 8-5 in the PacWest Conference). The Penguins are 6-14, 3-11.

Inakoshi in top 10 at invitational
Skye Inakoshi shot a 2-under 70 and is tied for eighth after Monday’s first round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational tournament.
Cameron Young of first-place Wake Forest leads the tournament at 6-under 66. Four others are at 68.
Wake Forest is at 10 under, followed by Alabama (7 under) and Cal Poly and Pepperdine, which are tied for third at 4 under. Hawaii (24 over) is last in the 17-team field.
Honors for UH kicker-punter Sanchez
University of Hawaii place-kicker and punter Rigo Sanchez, who averaged 52 yards per punt, with four inside the 20, against Air Force earned the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week on Monday.
Last week, Sanchez was listed among the candidates for the Ray Guy Award, given out annually to the top collegiate punter at the Home Depot College Football Awards on Dec. 10.
