The University of Hawaii men’s golf team finished in seventh and 18th place at the second annual Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational on Sunday at the Royal Ka’anapali Course on Maui.
UH’s "A" team took seventh place while its "B" team came in at 18th. Maui-native James Horton shot a final round even par 71 to finish in a tie for 9th at 1-under 212.
Oklahoma, ranked 13th, won the team title at 15-under 837. No. 12 Georgia finished in second place at 3-under 849.
This tournament concluded the fall season for UH, which will open the spring season at the Amer Ari Invitation, Feb. 4-6 at Waikoloa.
