Residential property brokerage firm Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has branched out to Oahu after establishing itself with an initial Hawaii office on Maui last year.
Tracy Bradley, a former executive of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, is heading the new firm, which is based in Kailua with 25 agents and opens today.
Bradley is a veteran Hawaii real estate agent who joined her family’s firm, Bradley Properties, in 1988 and later joined Coldwell, where she trained new agents. From 2006 to 2013, Bradley served as Coldwell’s regional vice president of sales, then left the company to start her own firm, T Bradley LLC. The new company is named Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawaii Realty.
California-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a 2-year-old brand majority owned by an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., the Nebraska-based holding company led by billionaire Warren Buffett. Other real estate brands affiliated with the company are Prudential Real Estate and Real Living Real Estate.
The first Hawaii office for the brand was Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Maui Properties, formed last year by rebranding Prudential Maui Realtors.
