‘BABIES’ CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS
Julius Mina, left, Kristian Lei, Isaac Lau (seated), Joan Almedilla and Kimo Kahoano shared an evening of light entertainment and a buffet dinner Wednesday at the Honolulu Broadway BabiesVIP/Media Holiday Mixer at One Ala Moana. Lei and Almedilla entertained the group with a two-part arrangement of “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Miserables.” Kahoano sang “The Lord’s Prayer” in Hawaiian and English.
STRONG TURNOUT FOR PET CAUSE
Board members Randy Clark, left, Maude Lau and Bill van den Hurk congratulated Stephanie Ryan, president of the Oahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and her husband,board member David Ryan, on the turnout for the organization’s Second Annual Casino Carnival Night on Nov. 28 at Waialae Country Club. Proceeds will help fund the Oahu SPCA’s “no kill”animal shelter programs.
