An 18-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile girl three years ago in Waianae, police said.
Joseph Smith III, of Waianae, was charged with five counts of first-degree sexual assault and his bail was set at $50,000.
Police said a 17-year-old girl reported that Smith sexually assaulted her in October 2012. Smith was arrested Friday afternoon.
Woman charged for ramming police vehicle
A 36-year-old woman has been charged with ramming a police car multiple times in Kaneohe.
Charitie-Lynn Lee was charged with second-degree criminal property damage and her bail was set at $15,000.
Police said she rammed a subsidized police vehicle three times with her vehicle about 3:40 p.m. Thursday. Lee was located and arrested on Waikalualoko Loop about half an hour later.
Suspected bank robber remains in custody
A 52-year-old man remained in police custody Saturday, charged with robbing a Chinatown bank, police said.
Paul Hess, of no local address, was charged with second-degree robbery and remained in custody, unable to post $50,000 bail.
Police said Hess entered a bank about 3:15 p.m. and gave a teller a demand note. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money and was found a short distance away near Kekaulike Street and Nimitz Highway.
