Luke Hager scored 18 points and Connor Looney added 16 as the Hawaii Pacific men’s basketball team beat Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) 83-76 in the Hoops in Hawaii Classic on Saturday at Moanalua High School.

Joel Feigler finished with 14 points and five blocks and Chauncey Orr had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Sharks (5-4).

Isaiah Harrison had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Evan Forhetz added 17 points for the Lions (10-2), ranked No. 3 in NAIA Division I.

BYU-Hawaii women beat Chaminade

Valerie Nawahine had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Jiashan Cui scored 15 points as the Brigham Young-Hawaii women’s basketball team beat Chaminade 85-63 on Saturday at the Cannon Activities Center.

The Seasiders improved to 4-4, 1-2 in the PacWest.

Lilia Maio scored 17 points for the Silverswords (3-5, 3-1).
