Local residents, cyclists and business owners will have a chance next week to weigh in on the latest plans for new bike lanes and routes in Honolulu’s urban core.
The city will hold an informational public meeting 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Neal Blaisdell Center’s Hawaii Suite.
Local transportation officials will cover the latest designs for a South Street protected lane, based on previous community input, as well as a one-way lane slated for Halekauwila Street and ongoing comments and concerns regarding King Street. Officials will field comments, questions and concerns from the audience, according to a news release.
