Smooth-jazz superstar Kenny G, center, talked backstage Thursday with Akemi Rogers, left, her husband, Henk Rogers, Diane Liles and her husband, Bill Liles, after his sold-out first show at the grand opening of Blue Note Hawaii, in the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. Kenny G and his excellent band played for more than 90 minutes, and he said he hoped no one minded that they’d played that long.
