The Courtyard Cinema at Ward Village series starts 2016 with a romantic Korean comedy, “The Beauty Inside,” about a furniture designer who wakes up in a different body every morning but is the same person on the inside. His girlfriend knows his secret and loves him regardless of his outside appearance. So is the beauty on the inside? Where does love begin?
The South Korean film was a success with 4.2 million tickets sold last year. It also was a hit at the Festival de Cannes.

Today, 7:45 p.m.: Ang-ran secretly visits Do-hyun before she embarks on her revenge to Chairman Ma. Joo-ran finds out Do-hyun is alive while tailing Ang-ran. Woo-seok starts to investigate the fire that killed his father 30 years ago.

Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Jung Mong-ju finds Jung Do-jun’s secret cave. Jung Do-jun tells Jung Mong-ju of his secret plan, but Jung Mong-ju tells him treason is out of the question. Government officials who were to leave for land measurement are killed one by one.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: When Bang-ji tells Boon-yi he wants to find their kidnapped mother, Boon-yi tells him their mother was not kidnapped, but left them of her own will. Yi Bang-ji runs into Gil Seon-mi while looking for his mother.

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: In-ah helps to clear Jin-woo of murder charges. The housekeeper’s daughter comes forward with video of her mother’s last words, and Jin-woo is granted retrial. Gyu-man plants a prosecutor to turn the retrial to his favor.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Jin-woo calls to the witness stand the doctor who lied about his father’s condition four years ago. In-ah resigns from the Prosecutors Office and starts working with Jin-woo. Jin-woo rescues Detective Kwak just in time before he’s about to be killed.

Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Jin-eon promises Hae-kang he’ll tell her the truth behind her father’s death when he finds out. Jin-eon starts to investigate the climbing accident. Hae-kang remembers the conversation Chairman Choi and Tae-seok had about her father.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Hae-kang and Jin-eon have their last moments together as they both sense their imminent farewell. Hae-kang keeps getting death threats. Seol-ri does a one-person picketing in front of Cheonnyeon Pharmaceuticals. Tae-seok decides to take action to keep Baek Seok from coming to the trial.
