Michael Watson scored in overtime as the Radford boys soccer team upset Mililani 2-1 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Tournament quarterfinals Tuesday at Mililani.
Bane Vanburger also scored for the Rams, the West No. 5 seed.
Hudson Zeisman scored for the West top seed and previously undefeated Trojans.
Radford coach Geoffrey Maeda said his team gained momentum from a first-round win over Kahuku on Monday.
“They’re running on a high,” he said. “We were eliminated in the first round of the OIA tournament the last three years. The remaining seniors wanted it really badly.”
The Trojans have not missed the state tournament since 2007 but will have to beat Castle today to get into the show.
Radford, which has never won an OIA championship, will play Kaiser in the semifinals today at 7 p.m. at Kapolei.
The Cougars last won the OIA in 2014.
Kapolei and Kalaheo will meet in the other semifinal at 5:30 p.m.

Makana Srivongsana scored in the Cougars’ victory over the Knights at Mililani.
Castle drops into the consolation bracket, where it meets Mililani for a state berth.

Shandon Hopeau had a hat trick in the Hurricanes’ victory over Na Menehune at Roosevelt.
Na Menehune will have to beat Kalaheo tonight at 7 to reach the state tournament.

Takahiro Kosins scored twice and Rudi McCllelan also scored in the Falcons’ win over the Mustangs at Roosevelt.
Kalaheo visits Moanalua in the consolation bracket with a state berth on the line.

Keoni Geyrozaga-Rivera and Hunter DeTurk scored as Punahou defeated visiting ‘Iolani.
Mid-Pacific will face Punahou on Friday for the league’s seeded berth in the state Division I tournament.
‘Iolani will miss the tournament for the first time since 2011.
