Executive producer Valerie Joseph congratulated “Popolo” cast members Tony Silva, left, and Curtis Duncan after the Hawaii premiere screening of the made-in-Hawaii martial arts drama comedy as the final film of the 2016 Honolulu African American Film Festival Friday at the Doris Duke Theatre. Joseph is holding the trophy “Popolo” received for best feature film at the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema in February.
