Tanioka’s Seafood & Catering is popular for its casual fare of poke and fried chicken, but it’s going upscale for “An Evening of Hope,” a fundraising dinner at 5:30 p.m. April 22 at Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki.
The event benefits several community groups, including Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. It is organized by Tanioka’s Charity Foundation, which keeps the eatery on track with making a donation every day.
Cost is $100 per person, $1,000 for tables of 10. VIP tables for 10 are available for $3,000.
Guests are also encouraged to donate a $10 gift card for keiki.
