A 35-year-old California man was charged with additional offenses Friday stemming from more than $300,000 in purchases in Waikiki and the Ala Moana area using counterfeit credit cards in February, police said.
Jonathan Tucker was charged with 12 counts of credit card fraud, eight counts of first-degree theft and one count of second-degree theft. He remained at Oahu Community Correctional Center on Monday, unable to post $1 million bail.
Police said Tucker made the purchases at high-end retailers over several days around Feb. 1. He was arrested Feb. 2 when he returned to Ala Moana Center and employees recognized him.
Tucker was initially charged in February, and more charges were added Friday, bringing the number of offenses against him to 21.
