Rumi Murakami Robertson will host a trunk show and sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Fishcake to introduce her 12-piece Rumi Murakami Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
The designs, with pieces priced from $84 to $168, will be available for purchase off the rack and cut to order. A photo studio will be set up with a photographer taking candid shots and portraits of shoppers in the Murakami designs.
Robertson’s eponymous label, launched in 2013, is dedicated to the “slow fashion” movement that encourages sustainable practices in all aspects of the business. This means being mindful about the fabrics used, the labor associated with production and creating products that are made to last.

Crystals and Cupcakes at Ward Village
Sedona will present its annual Crystals and Cupcakes Show from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, featuring more than 1,000 pounds of crystals, gemstones and jewelry straight from the 2016 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.
Collectors, jewelry designers and crafters will find a wide selection of beads, geodes and spheres from around the globe, including black tourmaline and jewelry from China, quartz crystal clusters from Brazil and, from Madagascar alone, black moonstone, pistachio opal, labradorite, star rose quartz, carnelian and more.
Ready-made sterling silver and 14-karat gold jewelry also will be available, and select stones and jewelry will be offered at 75 percent off.
Shoppers can nibble on cupcakes from The Girls Who Bake Next Door in such flavors as toffee peanut butter, strawberry Nutella, cookies-and-cream and dark chocolate.
Sedona is on the ground level at Ward Village Shops near Bed Bath & Beyond. A portion of the event’s sales will be donated to Direct Relief for Fiji and to the Hawaii Foodbank.
Isle designer showing at Bloomingdale’s
Honolulu-based designer Kaypee Soh will present a trunk show of his Spring 2016 ready-to-wear “Over the Rainbow” collection from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Bloomingdale’s, in Designer Collections.
The collection of men’s and women’s wear features the custom prints Soh is known for in his home and textile collections. The new collection marks his first full ready-to-wear collection.
1-day-only vintage show at Blaisdell Sunday
The Wiki Wiki One Day Vintage Collectibles & Hawaiiana Show returns to the Neal S. Blaisdell Hawaii Suite from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
There will 93 tables with vendors from Hawaii and the mainland, featuring items 20 years and older, including vintage aloha shirts, Hawaiiana, kitchenware, kimonos, Ming’s Jewelry, Niihau shell lei, shabby-chic furnishings and more.
