Hawaiian Electric Co. has told the Public Utilities Commission it will meet with a company interested in buying three canceled SunEdison solar farm projects. SunEdison installed 11,000 metal structural posts on 150 acres in Waipio, laying nearly 68,000 feet of underground wiring and mounting 1,240 solar panels before Hawaiian Electric Co. filed to terminate its contract with the facility in February.
