Dona Wong of Keoni Collections was named designer of the year in the Hawaii Jewelers Association’s 67th annual design competition, collecting the highest number of points during the competition involving 33 entries. Pieces were evaluated on their overall design, marketability, practicality/wearability and craftsmanship.
Winners were announced during the group’s annual banquet April 30 at Honolulu Country Club. Here are the winners in the competition’s three categories:
