Mona Choy-Beddow, president of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, was joined by board member Douglas Ho, left, and former president Eddie Flores Jr. in welcoming attendees to the installation banquet, the official start of Choy-Beddow’s term, May 19 at the Empress Restaurant. Choy-Beddow said Flores had “moved the CCCH forward” by adding cultural events and forging bonds with Korean, Filipino and Japanese organizations.
