Koko Crater Stables has been closed since Saturday, when the operator held its last lesson. All 10 horses were recently moved to sites in Waimanalo, the North Shore and Barbers Point.

Koko Crater Stables is scheduled to close Tuesday when the city’s yearlong lease agreement with Stable Solutions Hawaii ends. The city says there are safety issues concerning the deteriorating structures there.
