Maybe we missed it in years past, but it looks like Aloha Stadium might be getting a clue on planning ahead and building excitement.
With football season around the corner, the stadium has put out a hiring call for “Ambassadors of Aloha” to fill some 100 at-will positions “to welcome new and returning high school and university players, as well as Coach (Nick) Rolovich and his staff.” The freshman coach, surely, would love to see some love for the University of Hawaii Warriors at the gate.
The seasonal jobs start in August, and range from ushers and parking attendants, to cleanup helpers, nursing, video coordinators and ticket sellers.
To be a part of “this winning team,” as the stadium says, see more information at www.alohastadium.hawaii.gov or call 483-2500.
