Hawaiian Airlines continued its streak in April as the most punctual carrier in the U.S. The state’s largest airline reported that 94.1 percent of its flights arrived on time during the month, according to data released Monday by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The national average for the 12 reporting airlines was 84.5 percent. Hawaiian has ranked first every month this year. Hawaiian also ranked second in April for fewest flight cancellations with 0.1 percent, representing six cancellations out of 6,239 flights. In other categories, Hawaiian was eighth in consumer complaints with 1.76 per 100,000 passengers and 11th in mishandled-baggage reports with 3.04 per 1,000 passengers.
