APAKA CELEBRATES IN HAWAIIAN STYLE

Entertainer Jeff Apaka celebrated his 70th birthday with his service dog Ponoli‘iaholoapaka and friends June 22 in a private room overlooking the ocean at Sarento’s at the Top of the Ilikai. One of the 26 guests, Mihana Aluli Souza, entertained the group with old-time Hawaiian and hapa-haole songs before dinner. Aaron Mahi shared more island classics, singing and playing ukulele later in the evening.
