Rising University of Hawaii sophomore Joe Worsley and incoming freshman Austin Matautia were named to the U.S. men’s volleyball junior national team on Monday.

Worsley, one of two setters selected, was part of the U.S. Boys Youth National Team that won the 2014 NORCECA U19 Continental Championship. Last year, he played libero as the youth team finished seventh at the FIVB U19 World Championship.

Matautia, a recent Moanalua High graduate, is one of three outside hitters selected to the 12-player roster.

The U.S. will compete in the NORCECA U21 Continental Championship in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The tournament, which includes Canada, Cuba, Barbados, St. Vincent, Guatemala and Trinidad & Tobago, begins Tuesday and runs through July 11.
