The National Weather Service says the Fourth of July holiday weekend will begin with windy conditions, followed by tradewind showers Sunday and Monday.
A wind advisory is posted for all islands from 6 a.m. today to 6 p.m. Saturday.
Tradewinds of 15 to 30 mph, with gusts of 50 mph, are expected. The wind will be strongest over mountain ridges and the downslope of the mountains.
Tradewind showers are expected Sunday and Monday and might continue through Wednesday, forecasters said.
