Police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a 30-year-old man multiple times in Kalihi early Thursday morning.
Police said that an argument got physical when the suspect allegedly used a dangerous instrument and stabbed the man at about 4:40 a.m. at a Lopez Lane address.
City Emergency Medical Services and police responded to the scene, but the suspect fled before they arrived.
The victim was found with multiple stab wounds.
Paramedics treated him for stab wounds to the back, abdomen and both hands, an EMS report said.
The man was taken in serious condition to a hospital, EMS reported.
The suspect has not been identified, and no description was provided by police. A police report did not specify the suspect’s gender.
Police have classified the case as second-degree attempted murder.
