General Manager Marco Olivari, left, congratulated David Crosby on July 3 after the final show of his two-night engagement at the Blue Note Hawaii in Waikiki. Crosby entertained the sold-out house for more than 90 minutes. The 74-year-old singer/songwriter performed what he called “weird songs played in weird tunings” and previewed one song each from his next two albums. He also told stories about his life experiences and shared frank observations about American politics and “lying politicians.” It was a great night at the Blue Note.
