Ron Artis II entertained a near-capacity crowd with 45 minutes of original music Wednesday at the Crossroads at Hawaiian Brian’s. Artis displayed his range as a writer and solo performer with a set that included some blues, some acoustic funk, some pop and a couple of selections he described as “crazy.” He hana hou’d with a song titled “Before You Go” and explained that it is about the importance of telling people you care about them and not waiting until it is too late.
