Parking will be restricted in
Lanikai for this weekend’s Statehood Day holiday.
In an effort to balance public access to nearby beaches with public safety for the community, parking will be restricted over a three-day period, starting Friday. According to the city’s special enforcement district restrictions, parking will be prohibited on all Lanikai streets and shoulder areas from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m.
Anyone wishing to access the Lanikai beach area or Lanikai Pillboxes Trail over the three-day weekend may walk, bike, take TheBus Route 70 Lanikai Shuttle or get dropped off in Lanikai. For information regarding TheBus Route 70 Lanikai Shuttle, which will provide expanded service throughout the weekend, visit TheBus.org or call 848-5555.
