Hawaii-born abstract painter Harry Tsuchidana, center, was the guest of honor at Thursday’s private opening reception at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum for “Harry Tsuchidana: Forgotten Paintings,” an exhibition of small textured works recently found in his apartment.
