Before playing in the National Football League in 1934-36 for the Chicago Cardinals, Harry Montague Field was an ILH all-star and team captain at Punahou School (then Oahu College), a player under coach Otto Klum at the University of Hawaii and a member of Oregon State University’s 1933 “Iron Men” team, which upset USC.
