Ko Olina: Chinese company boosts resort property portfolio

An empty lot between Kamoana Place and Waialii Place is part of a large land purchase in Ko Olina. The property is between Ko Olina Beach Villas condo and Aulani, a Disney Resort. One plan would turn the property into a hotel affiliated with the Atlantis Resorts brand.

A Chinese company has bought two undeveloped sites and the land under Ko Olina Chapel Place of Joy to develop a hotel. The chapel, located next to Disney’s Aulani Resort, is a wedding operation that has a lease on the land expiring in April.
