The University of Hawaii women’s cross country team had four of the top five finishers to win the BYU-Hawaii Invitational on Saturday in Laie.
Camille Campos won the 5K race in 18:00, Alli Cross was second in 19:07, Maddie Fuhrman finished fourth in 19:27 and Tristan Setzer placed fifth in 19:39. BYU-Hawaii’s Jessica Horrocks was third in 19:16.
The Rainbow Wahine finished with 21 points and were followed by Hawaii Pacific (48), BYU-Hawaii (72), Hawaii Hilo (116) and Chaminade (133).
Hawaii Pacific won the men’s team title with 27 points. BYU-Hawaii was a close second with 29 and Chaminade was third with 83.
The Seasiders’ Max Moncur won the 5K event in 16:30 and Jackson Oliver finished third in 17:06.
The Sharks’ Edward Ochsner placed second in 17:04, Dylan Evans was fourth in 17:07 and Ivan Juarez placed fifth in 17:13.
