“Hawaiians Hanging Holoku,” a 58-by-44-inch oil-on-canvas painting, will be among the works displayed in the “Rhythm in the Round: The Modernism of Madge Tennent” exhibit at Isaacs Art Center from Friday through Nov. 12.

HAWAII PREPARATORY ACADEMY

The exhibit shows a solid koa four-poster double bed from a kamaaina Honolulu family. Like the quilts, it dates back to the early 1900s and is available for sale to support HPA’s scholarship fund.
