Bart DaSilva, left, Bruce Johnston, Kool Gold 107.9 contest winner Ioanna Stathoudaki, Mike Love and Adam Carr talked backstage before Love, Johnston and the rest of the Beach Boys performed for almost two hours Saturday in the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Love presided with his iconic cool charm as the group did all its biggest hits from “Surfin’ Safari” through “Do It Again” — plus “Kokomo” and two recent songs of significance for Love and the group. “Barbara Ann” and “Fun, Fun, Fun” closed the show.
