CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department want the public’s help in finding the male robber of a Pearl City bank Friday afternoon.
At 2:17 p.m., a male entered the Hawaii National Bank at 98-1268 Kaahumanu St., handed the teller a note and said he had a weapon, police said.
He fled on foot after the robbery.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, wearing a black and white cap, sunglasses, an orange shirt, a black long-sleeve undershirt and dark pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellphone.
Soup assault alleged in Waianae
Police arrested a 21-year-old woman Thursday for allegedly assaulting a 34-year-old man by throwing soup at him and striking him with a metal object.
Police said the two were arguing in Waianae at about 9:20 a.m. when the woman threw soup at the man and struck him with the metal object, which caused injury.
The metal object was not identified by police, who also did not say whether the soup was hot.
Police arrested the woman on suspicion of second-degree assault.
The woman was charged with misdemeanor abuse. Bail was set at $2,000.
