The Chaminade women’s soccer team snapped a 20-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over Holy Names on Saturday in Oakland, Calif.
Caitlin Tatemichi scored at 36:25 off an assist from Marissa Liberato and Chelsie Delameter added one at 44:44 off an assist from Nicole Nishiki for the Silverswords (1-4-0, 1-1-0 PacWest). It also was Chaminade’s first road win since Oct. 2014.
The Hawks fell to 0-4-1 and 0-2-0.

Bailey scores 4 goals for BYUH men
Braden Bailey scored four goals as the Brigham Young-Hawaii men’s soccer team routed Fresno Pacific 6-1 on Saturday in Fresno, Calif.
Bailey scored at 25:39, 28:12, 38:40 and 65:20. The Seasiders also scored on an own goal at 58:12 and Jessey Hein capped the scoring with a goal at 66:52.
BYU-Hawaii improved to 3-2-1, 2-1-0 PacWest, while Fresno Pacific fell to 2-3-1, 1-1-0.

HPU women, BYUH men race to titles
The Hawaii Pacific women and Brigham Young-Hawaii men won team titles at the Hawaii Pacific Invitational on Saturday at Kahuku Golf Course.
The Sharks women finished with 22 points, Brigham Young-Hawaii finished second with 40, Hawaii Hilo placed third with 92 and Chaminade was fourth with 94.
Jessica Horrocks of BYUH won the 5K race in 19:45.0. HPU’s Allison Carone was second in 19:53.00 and teammate Meghan Rasch placed third in 19:53.8.
The Seasiders men finished with 22 points, and were followed by HPU (33) and Chaminade (84).
BYUH men’s runners took the top three spots in the 8K race. Max Moncur won in 27:11.0, Isaac Stinchfield placed second in 28:03.0 and Jackson Oliver was third in 28:05.0.
