BENSON DAZZLES AT THE BLAISDELL

Grammy Award winner George Benson, second from right, talked backstage with record producer George Chun, left, and jazz scene veterans Jimmy Funai and Andrea Young after his superb 90-minute concert Thursday in the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Benson played all his hits. He also introduced “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You,” which only became a hit after Hawaii singer Glenn Medeiros popularized it. “I owe him a lot,” Benson told the audience.
