One man appears to have robbed three banks in Mililani and Pearl City on Friday.
Police did not say the suspect is the same in all three robberies, but images from surveillance video released by police in all three incidents show what looks to be the same man, wearing an orange T-shirt over a black long-sleeve shirt, a black and green hat, dark sunglasses and blue jeans.
In all three cases, police described the robber as 6 feet tall; in one case, he was described as 20 to 30 years old and weighing 200 pounds.
At about 2:15 p.m. Friday, a man entered the Hawaii National Bank at 98-1268 Kaahumanu St. in Pearl City, handed a teller a demand note mentioning a weapon, then fled on foot, police said.
About a half-hour later, a man entered the American Savings Bank at Mililani Town Shopping Center, handed the teller a note and fled on foot, police said.
And about 90 minutes afterward, a man entered Central Pacific Bank at 1030 Makolu St. in Pearl City and handed a teller a note that demanded money and said he had a weapon, police said. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
